Hispi Organic Cotton & Linen

Hispi Is part of Merchant & Mills new collection of cotton/linens in a palette of soft and warm autumnal tones.

The cotton content makes these a stable dream to sew with. The 12% linen adds a touch of texture and slub, giving them a rustic and earthy handle which compliments the vintage feel of the collection.

 A classic emerald green check with ochre, navy and ecru from Merchant & Mills in Indian organic cotton and linen.

This can be used for many patterns, ideally dresses, skirts and tops. Perfect for autumnal dresses like the Florence or Hattie.It would also be suitable for lightweight curtains.

• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
